Hazardous waste incinerator - Hazardous wastes are produced by many industries such as automobile, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, pesticide, steel plants, paper mills and there are a wide variety of these wastes.  The most important factor in dealing with these wastes is to ensure proper handling, treatment and disposal as these are highly toxic and can cause many problems to flora, fauna and the environment.

While manufacturing automobiles, paint residues need to be incinerated.

Oil refining, storage and generation produces a lot of oil sludge.  Condensates are another hazardous waste produced in oil and gas drilling sites.  These wastes need to be disposed of in a specially designed hazardous waste incinerator.

`Red category’ industries are presumed to generate hazardous waste as a by-product.  Some of these wastes could be liquid such as used solvents or sludge or solid wastes and after incineration, only a small quantity of ash is left which can be landfilled.   

All this requires a careful examination of the type of waste, its calorific value, condition and type of equipment required for incineration.
