Having supplied an incinerator system for Camp waste to the National Iranian Oil Company in a location near Ahvaz, which is very close to the Iraq border, we were pleased to receive an enquiry from Petrofac International, UAE for a 300 kg/h system to be supplied by them to the Badra Oilfield for their client, the Russian company Gazprom.

 

This system was a few km away from our Iranian installation on the other side of the border in Iraq.

 

We had earlier received many RFQs from several Engineering Consultants in the bidding stage of this project.  We met one of them in France a few years ago and briefed them about our systems and our capabilities.  

 

Petrofac is one of the largest EPC companies in the world and their attention to detail and quality requirements are second to none.  Haat’s engineers had to burn the midnight oil to meet the tough documentation

requirements.  A project pre-inspection meeting was carried out with 3 third party inspection agencies, one from our side, one from Petrofac’s and another form the client’s.

 

The machine was fabricated as per the procedures / ITP approved by Petrofac and regular stage inspection was carried out.  The incinerator package was then shipped to UAE for onward shipment to the final destination.  Being skid mounted, installation and commissioning was done easily by Petrofac’s engineers themselves without the need for Haat’s supervisors to visit.  We did of course, provide them with ample phone and mail support.

 

The incinerator package was a skid mounted 300 kg/h unit with auto-loading, gas fired burners, pressure and flow control transmitters and complete safety interlocks.

 

It was a pleasure to work with Petrofac and we were pleased to add another feather in our cap.
