Disposal of Packing Material and Industrial Trash

Manufacturing industries use many disposables and packaging wastes during work generated by their employees. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Banian waste
  • Cardboard boxes
  • Disposable overalls
  • Ear plugs
  • Gloves
  • Industrial hand towels
  • Oil soaked cotton
  • Tissues
  • Wooden pallets

These and other types of disposables can be easily incinerated, provided they do not contain any chlorinated plastic.

While the presence of oil in any waste makes it hazardous, requiring use of the right type of incinerator equipment (with air pollution control equipment) or sending it to a common hazardous waste facility, the other wastes can be disposed of using the ‘free burning’ type trash destructors available with Haat.

For hazardous wastes, model PDR or ADR or LRD can be chosen with supporting APC equipment.

For non-hazardous wastes, our model LD, MD, HD can be selected and they do not consume any fuel during operation.  They utilize the calorific value of the dry waste itself as fuel.  The redeeming feature of these free burning models is that they DO NOT PRODUCE ANY VISIBLE SMOKE provided they are charged with the right type of wastes and operated as per instructions.

These are in use in India and abroad for similar and different applications.  More about this later.
