Industrial Incinerator
Haat has in its range, certain models of incinerators for industrial waste applications. These include the old work horse, model BP and the later additions, PDR and LRD. The choice of the model is based on:
• the type of waste
• waste quantity
• residence time requirements
• APC equipment
In the year 1999, we started with the BP incinerator model. Even now, this model is quite liked by users for its simple retort type design and its efficiency. It is a triple chamber system with 2 burners and can handle both liquid and solid wastes. It is being used by:
• Chemical and Fertilizer industry – plants with CO2 recovery for liquid waste
• Oil & Gas drilling operations for hydrocarbon condensate and waste oil
• Pharma industry for activated carbon and organic sludge from process
• Food & Beverage industry for disposal of egg shells and food waste
• Defence hospitals for bio-medical waste
• Lignite Mining for activated carbon
• Oil refineries for oil sludge
• Common hazardous waste facility for different types of hazardous waste
• Tractor manufacture for oil sludge and oil soaked cotton waste
• Confectionery industry for rejects and other waste
In the year 2004, the LRD incinerator model was introduced. This is of modular construction with the choice of adding one or more modules depending on residence time requirements. This incinerator handles both liquid and solid wastes. Any APC equipment can be offered to go with the LRD incinerator. This is used successfully in:
• Oil & Gas drilling sites - for hydrocarbon condensate and garbage
• Airports for food and camp waste
• Customs for confiscated drugs
• Municipalities for dead animals
• Ports for ship waste
• Paint manufacturing for paint sludge
• Automobile manufacture for paint sludge and jigs
• Earth moving equipment manufacture for paint sludge
• Insecticide making for waste byproduct
• Defence - for port waste
• R & D - for waste
The PDR incinerator model is also modular in construction and an economical one in terms of capital cost, compared to the LRD. It was introduced in the year 2012. It has most of the key features of LRD and is used in:
• Garment industry for cloth offcuts
• Paint manufacturing for paint sludge
• Healthcare industry for biomedical waste
• Man camps for general garbage
• Common facilities for biomedical waste
A wide spectrum of industrial wastes can be covered by the above incinerator models and more applications are being added.
These industrial waste incinerators are time-tested and performance-proven work horses which have been in active duty for the past 7 to 20 years, meeting the end user`s requirements satisfactorily.
