Incinerator for Resorts
There are many resorts worldwide as well as around the Indian sub-continent which attracts tourists and holiday makers from all over the globe. While the water, air and atmosphere can be very inviting, what would be a dampener is the garbage. A visitor looks forward to serene surroundings which can be impacted if general and other wastes are not disposed of. A guest at a resort expects to spend some quality time in a quality place.
Resort owners woke up to this reality when they found the going tough, with visitors opting out of certain countries and places. The truth behind the drop in business took some time to sink in. When it did, they started taking action to rectify the situation.
There are resorts in Indian Ocean islands and many of them have now chosen to install incinerators for disposal of their waste, which includes food waste, packaging materials, general garbage, etc.
Haat has supplied many different kinds of incinerator models to resorts which include their Trash Destructors for packaging materials, wood, cardboard, dry leaves and paper; their ADR model incinerators for food and animal waste and general garbage; as well as their SWR which is a marine incinerator but is popular in resorts as it can use waste oil and kitchen oil to reduce fuel requirements.
The ADR is provided with a primary and a secondary chamber with their individual burners and an ejector mechanism (in certain models only) to ensure negative pressure in the combustion chamber which eliminates leakage of smoke. Since there is good combustion with practically no visible smoke, the need for additional downstream pollution control equipment is generally not found necessary. However the same can be supplied with the incinerator or added in future, if required.
With regard to the Trash Destructors, these are free burning and use no power and fuel as they are meant for dry wastes including paper, packaging materials, dry leaves, etc. and its excellent design enables burning with no visible smoke at all. Quite a few of these have been supplied to resorts.
Thanks to Haat and the timely action taken by resorts to manage their waste scientifically by incineration, the tourism industry in these countries is booming and continuing to grow.
