A tea estate in Tinsukia, Assam bought a model GD incinerator from us in the year 2001. The GD incinerator is a workhorse and this machine worked well for the tea estate for many years without any issues. We did not keep track of it for long, except for an occasional supply of some spares.
The tea estate is in a remote location and has a hospital within its premises. The incinerator was being used for burning some bio-medical waste generated by the hospital, apart from campus waste and general garbage.
The GD is of a special design where there is a grated hearth for loading the waste. Once the waste starts burning, there is an under-hearth chamber through which the flue gas flows and gets burnt by the burner flame before exiting the system. This gives off a COLOURLESS and ODOURLESS emission conforming to
In late 2018, we received an RFQ from the tea estate for supply of the exact same model GD incinerator, i.e., after a period of 18 years! The GD model is designed for roughly a 10 year life, but the first machine provided the user with stellar performance for nearly 2 decades!
When we offered to give them a new and improved model incinerator, the client was very firm in demanding exactly the same model incinerator be supplied. We were, of course, happy to do that.
Just shows the reliability and longevity of a Haat incinerator!
