We executed a contract with a Company manufacturing advanced polymers, polyurethanes, polycarbonates, coating, adhesive and specialty raw materials as well as thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers.

We supplied a DFTO (Direct Fired Thermal Oxidiser) system for two types of gases - one is off gas from the process and second is vent gas from chemicals used in the manufacturing process.  The fumes from the drums carrying chemicals when opened release these gases which are then extracted by a fan and sent to the DFTO.

There are two lines for both these gases and instruments used in the process are all SIL-3 rated to ensure maximum safety while the system works.

The project has been commissioned a few months back and the system has been working satisfactorily non-stop 24/7.  The entire system is skid mounted with DFTO, control panel, instrumentation and piping.

The system ensures that no poisonous gases are released into the atmosphere which can otherwise have a severe impact on the local population.
