Model SWR Marine Incinerator / Shipboard Incinerator / IMO Type Approved Incinerator

Haat received an MED B+D certificate from DNV-GL, Norway for the model SWR shipboard marine incinerator in the year 2016 which includes IMO type approval as per MEPC.244(66) – standard specification for shipboard incinerator.  This certificate is valid for 5 years.

 

What are the special features of this unique incinerator?

 

  Haat is probably the first Indian company or one of very few to make a marine incinerator in India.

  Haat is probably the first Indian company or one of very few to get type approval – MED B+D certificate from DNV-GL, Norway.

  This certificate enables Haat to supply this incinerator world-wide.

  This incinerator is designed to burn liquid/sludge (generator waste oil) and solid (general garbage) simultaneously.

  It is designed to fit into a container/limited space in the ship.

  It is a jacketed design which keeps its surface cool.

  It has a triple chamber design for creating turbulence in the flue gas for effective burning of the products of combustion.

  It has an ejector mechanism to create a negative pressure in the chamber and simultaneously cool the outgoing flue gas

  It is equipped with a sludge pump for feeding the waste oil automatically into the chamber

  It is equipped with a recirculation pump for preventing solids from settling down in the oil tank

  It is lined with special refractories which exhibit high strength at high temperatures and provide long life.

  It is equipped with an ID fan, which

-                  Creates negative pressure in the chamber

-                  Cools the body thru the jacket

-                  Cools the flue gas thru the ejector

-                  Provides combustion air to the chamber

·        It is provided with monoblock automatic fuel burners

·        It is painted with marine grade paint after blasting and primer coat, for long life.

·        It is skid mounted

·        It is provided with all the required instruments

·        It is fully automatic

·        It has low fuel consumption due to the nature of the waste

·        Haat has a wide range of the SWR model from 200 KW to 2400 KW.

·        It can be operated 24 x 7

·        It is economical in terms of capital investment as well as running cost.
