It was known as New Holland Tractors, now known as New Holland Fiat India Pvt. Ltd. Their requirement was to incinerate primarily paint residues, apart from other hazardous wastes such as oil sludge, oil soaked cotton, etc.

The contract was won in a competitive bid and the work included supply, installation and commissioning.

Haat offered their incinerator model BP with wet scrubber and 30 metre chimney.  Manufacture and supply did not pose any problem. Erection of the equipment posed problems due to rains and the cold weather. It was in the month of December and the location was Greater Noida.

We had to do some site refractory work and that posed further problems because of the absence of a mixer.

Morever our technicians who went for this work were unfamiliar with the cold winter in North India. However when some of our senior people visited the site to see the progress of work, they were surprised to find our people working in the biting cold, braving the rain and doing a good job.

This was appreciated by the client, more especially by their overseas Italian personnel who were witness to this work.

It has been a long time since the installation was done and we are sure they still continue to use our incinerator.
