Haat’s Marine Incinerators – the preferred choice of Indian shipbuilders

We designed, developed, tested and introduced into the market the SWR range of marine incinerators some time back, after getting type tested and MED certified by DNV, Norway for conformance to standards covered by MARPOL regulations for ship waste disposal.  The testing itself took several years and introducing it to shipyards worldwide has taken a few more.

These incinerators are exclusively designed for use on board ships, including frigates and off shore locations for disposal of ship wastes.  These are fully automatic and designed to take both liquid and solid wastes.

The product was developed in line with the Government’s Make In India initiative.

Since then, we supplied this product to 2 major shipyards and more machines are getting ready for another 3.  This includes a contract from another company which provides exclusive services for safety and protection solutions, particularly to merchant ships.

We have also been receiving orders from another reputed Indian Shipbuilder who undertakes complex and critical projects towards nation building in all strategic sectors in Defence.  This organisation designs and develops equipment and systems as well as platforms.  Their portfolio includes Frontline Warships, Destroyers and Corvettes.  We have had several interactions with them and are pleased that they have chosen Haat for supply of Marine Incinerators to many of the ships whose construction is going on in their yard at the moment.

The projects being supplied include model SWR of different thermal capacities.

We are justified in feeling proud about success in this application where traditionally India had been relying on manufacturers from abroad, particularly Europe.  Haat’s Marine Incinerators have proved that India is second to none in meeting the stringent quality requirements for this special product, at an economical price and providing quick service from within the country.

We are happy to be contribute to the safety of marine life with our Marine Incinerators.  We also have enquiries from many overseas shipyards which are likely to be finalised in the coming year.
