Incinerator for Type `0` & `1` Wastes

What are type `0` and type `1` wastes?

These are highly combustible wastes like paper, cardboard, cartons, wood boxes, dry foliage, combustible floor sweepings, files, books, bundled paper, etc. generated by commercial and industrial activities, schools, colleges and hostels, defence establishments, railways and others.

These wastes contain 10 to 25% moisture, 5% incombustible solids and have a heating value of 6500 to 8500 B.T.U/lb as fired.

The Haat models LD/HD/MD incinerators, nay Trash Destructors* are ideal for these wastes for many reasons. Let`s first look at the design concept of these models.

(*These destructors use the waste itself as fuel and no other fuel like diesel, gas, etc. is used.)

These are a long established range of trash destructors employing ingenious design concepts and proven over many years of service.

Wastes are loaded into the chamber and are manually ignited. The flames are fed with primary air from apertures in the grate, all four sides of the combustion chamber and thru a central air intake cone, stimulating and sustaining fierce primary combustion.

As the waste starts burning, it results in a drop in pressure in the chamber enabling entry of atmospheric air through different routes.

Secondary air passes through the isolating space between the outer casing and the inner combustion chamber, expanding by absorption of heat and projected at high velocity into the upper part of the chamber, creating an intense secondary combustion for the destruction of smoke, gases and particulates.  A third stage supply of air enters through the underside of the upper outer casing to complete the after-burning process.

While making the trash destructors, no bolts and nuts are used for assembly. Each section is designed to sleeve into the other making it very easy for assembly and installation. A standard 1.25 m flue is supplied with the system. (Only the chimney`s flanged joints are to be bolted together.)

These trash destructors employ ingenious hydroxylative combustion principles, consuming waste, reducing the charged material to a fine white ash, the re-construction of which is impossible. This is where they out-do conventional shredders. This is the reason it is a preferred choice for defence establishments and the like to dispose of confidential documents and drawings.

The other speciality of these systems is that they DO NOT PRODUCE ANY VISIBLE SMOKE OR ODOUR because of the very efficient combustion that takes place within.

This also makes the Haat range of trash destructors a favourite, wherever the application demands its use. This is also the reason why Haat has supplied these systems through the length and breadth of the country as well as exported to many countries, including to Europe.

Here is one more incinerator from Haat, nay trash destructor, where you will find FIRE WITHOUT SMOKE!
