Haat was recently contacted by some Avian and Reptile Rescue Centres.  These Centres rehabilitate and looks after birds, reptiles and other small animals which are injured, sometimes it so happens that some of these animals die even after treatment.

It is unfortunate that this happens but is unavoidable because these could be chased by their predators or run over by vehicles if they happen to be moving on highways.

We have had experience in handling dead animals of very large sizes including dee, pythons, pigs, cattle, etc. in zoological parks and for bio-security.  Our incinerators are also used by many poultry and hatchery companies in India and abroad.

In this case, however, we had to offer them a small machine primarily because the birds and reptiles are considerably smaller in size.  For this purpose we chose our model GD incinerator with a 5 kg/h capacity.  This incinerator is skid mounted with its combustion chambers, burner, control panel, chimney piping and instrumentation, etc. all pre-assembled and skid-mounted, ready to use.

This model is particularly suited for this application because the dead birds have a reasonable moisture content in the carcass and the GD machine is provided with a grated hearth which enables recirculation of the flue gas several times before exiting to the flue.  For this reason there will be no visible smoke or even smell coming out of the system. 

The user did visit our factory and took a spot decision after seeing the working of the incinerator.  We supplied this unit in time which has been in use for a while now.

This is one more new application for Haat Incinerator for disposing of birds and reptiles!!
