Corona Virus Destruction by Incineration

The Corona Virus pandemic has become a worldwide concern.   We salute the medical and paramedical staff and other service providers who are relentlessly providing services to humanity at large even though they risk their own safety and health.

This is a time when being paranoid about getting the infection is actually a good thing.  All precautions need to be taken to ensure hands are clean and to cough/sneeze only into tissues.  Those who are sick should use face masks to prevent transmission of infection.

As many of these items are single use items and are discarded regularly and frequently, these have the potential to become an ecological disaster.

How do we deal with this problem?  Discarded masks already number several millions in every country.  This was the problem faced by the Chinese who were already in the unenviable position of balancing the containment of the virus and limiting the damage caused to its economy.  Health authorities opine that masks and other personnel protective gear used by infected people and by the medical personnel are in fact clinical wastes and should be incinerated at high temperatures at dedicated facilities.

It may be noted that the volume of medical waste in Wuhan where the epidemic started in December is now 200 tons a day.

It is very important to have Robust Waste Management Systems in place to save lives.

We, at Haat, are at the disposal of authorities, Govt. and Private in contributing our mite by offering to supply incinerators off the shelf to get rid of waste that is going to pile up even in India very shortly.  We are gearing ourselves to meet this demand.

Let us all join Prime Minister Modi’s call to observe “Janata Curfew” on Sunday the 22nd March 2020 from 7 am to 9 pm.  As directed by him, at 5 pm on 22nd March 2020, let us applaud and support all those who have been working tirelessly during this time of crisis for the sacrifices they are making.

Corona Virus – Destruction by Incineration – Part-2

Used face masks and tissues are increasing in volume.  These have to be disposed of without delay and without waiting for it to become too voluminous to handle.

HAAT has a simple solution.  Use one of its “Trash Destructors” like LD, MD, HD models which do not require any fuel.  Free burning needs no oil or gas or electrical supplies. All parts of the trash destructor sleeve together, requiring no nuts or bolts for assembly.

The waste has to be loaded and manually lit.  As the waste starts burning within the chamber, atmospheric air is sucked in through the specifically designed orifices and keeps the combustion going.  The only need is to load regularly, making sure the fire does not die down.

HAAT has supplied Trash Destructors for many similar applications in India and abroad including;

·        Cheque offcuts

·        Confidential documents

·        Drawings

·        Packaging materials

·        Cardboard

·        Paper waste

·        Wood waste

Here is range of unique products being offered by Haat, which can be installed anywhere outside, roof top and in open spaces. IT WILL NOT PRODUCE ANY VISIBLE SMOKE, PROVIDED IT IS LOADED WITH CORRECT WASTE AND OPERATED PROPERLY.

HAAT once again pledges its support to the Government agencies, medical fraternity and others in their fight against the Corona Virus menace.
