We have been running a Common Hazardous Waste Incinerator Facility in Bangalore for the past 15 years, under authorization from the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board. It has been functioning like a well-oiled machine for the past decade and half. Some of the reasons for its success and achievements are listed below.

Total Customer Satisfaction: It is being run as a model facility, not with profit in mind. The equipment is modernized/revamped from time to time, to keep pace with amendments to Hazardous Waste Rules in India and trends prevailing the world over. When our customers visit the facility, they get ample proof of `that we practice what we preach`, when it comes to housekeeping, emissions, documentation and safety. Customers are encouraged to carry out their audit of our facility. The result is Total Customer Satisfaction that the customers` waste is disposed of in a way equal to or better than what the customers themselves would have done, if the facility was located in their own premises. Many of the companies that carry out audits are Multi-National companies who have large manufacturing facilities in the State of Karnataka.

Certifications: We are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 for Quality Management, Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety Management systems respectively. Our staff is good at fully understanding and following the integrated system contents and procedures and has made it a habit to adopt these in their daily routine, without having to make any special efforts. The implementation of these standards over 2 decades has certainly helped us to improve our own standards of work and to implement such activities at customer sites, when required.

Clean Environment & Equipment configuration: We started our common incinerator operations in the year 2004 with a fairly simple system configuration including a venturi scrubber in accordance with the rules then prevailing. Today we are ahead of the amendments to the rules, in the sense that our equipment configuration is slightly better than what the rules demand and the emissions compliant to Euro standards. This gives us satisfaction that we not only meet statutory requirements, but also endorse our own Mission Statement with regard to a `Cleaner Environment`. We are happy in our little way to contribute to this.

Model facility: Our facility not only attracts local customers who wish to utilize it, but also visitors from overseas, who want to install a similar facility in their own country. This full-fledged facility enables our prospective clients to see for themselves, the quality of fabrication, the life of refractory, the Continuous Emission Monitoring System at work, the fully automatic operations, the trained staff who operate the facility, the excellent housekeeping standards maintained and so on.

R & D Work: We have done frequently some R & D work in our facility to try out new wastes, or waste handling and emissions at the request of our customers, which enables them to decide the combustibility and configuration of the equipment that they need to install in their own premises for the particular type of waste.

People Strength: We have trained and committed staff operating the system 24 x 7 and we know we can rest easy knowing that they follow the safety rules,  operation and maintenance of the plant without any issues. They say that staff and workers are the true assets to an organization and we find this statement to be quite true.
