LOCKDOWN
Many countries are under lockdown because of the virus. Roads are empty. Hardly any vehicular movement. The odd motorist or motorcyclist that one sees is invariably wearing a face mask. When you queue up for provisions or vegetables in front of a store, you maintain a one metre distance. Only 5 people are inside the store at any time. Visits to hospitals, doctors, etc. on medical grounds and emergencies are thankfully allowed by the police.
This is the time to think about the selfless acts of the medical staff, the police, essential goods stores, food delivery persons and thank them profusely. No amount of praise is good enough to appreciate their sacrifice in the cause of humanity, in the face of imminent danger.
Children do not understand the seriousness of this issue. They only miss their friends and outdoor games. Parents are all at sea. Some of them have to work from home and still look after the kids. Imagine the plight of a parent who has to do his/her work from home, cook, bathe and feed the kids and make sure they do not do anything to endanger their safety.
One thanks the units producing essential goods like masks, sanitizers, tissues, vegetables, provisions, medical supplies and so on. The people doing this job also deserve praise for their selfless work.
Haat is inundated with demands for both incinerators and incineration services for waste tissues, masks etc. We have restarted work after obtaining permission from the police on a skeletal scale. Our priority is to ship our incinerators to burn waste generated in our battle against the Covid-19 virus. Our essential product ensures that there is no further transmission of the virus once used PPE is discarded.
