From Destruction Begins Creation - Incinerator as a Tool of the Gods!
In Hindu philosophy and religious beliefs, Shiva is considered to be one of the most important gods among the Hindu pantheon and, along with Brahma and Vishnu, is considered a member of the holy trinity (trimurti) of Hinduism. He is also associated with Time and particularly as the destroyer of all things evil. In Hinduism, the universe is thought to regenerate in cycles (every 2,160,000,000 years). Even geological era studies have shown that we are currently in the Quarternary period of the Cenozoic era (the other 2 being the Paeleogene and the Neogene). This period currently spans 2.58 million years.
Shiva, Hindus believe, destroys the universe at the end of each cycle which then allows for a new Creation. Shiva is thus associated with creation by destroying unwanted and undesirable things.
Many people might be of the opinion that since incinerators are meant for destroying waste why give importance to them, as they do not produce anything worthwhile like production equipment? This is a very good question, deserving a proper answer.
As mentioned above, creation begins only after destruction. All bad things and evil have to be destroyed first. Imagine a world filled with waste, solid, liquid and gaseous. There is no place for humans to live; no clean air to breathe! People fall sick, infant mortality increases and human longevity comes down!
An incinerator is a tool that enables clean destruction of waste enabling the preservation of the environment and the creation of new life. Only when you get rid of things you do not want, will there be space for creating new things; for making life easier; for making the world conducive to children born and unborn.
Incineration may be destruction, but it paves the way for renewed production and thereby enhances the health of the earth and living beings.
