HAAT has commenced the development of engineering documents for CTJV.

With its vast experience in similar applications, HAAT is confident that it will deliver the equipment on time and that it will meet the requirements of EPC Contractor CTJV for its client Qatargas.

Qatargas has commenced development of the NFE Project which is the largest LNG development of its kind in the world.

The project will raise Qatar’s LNG production capacity from 77 million tons per annum to 110 MTPA.  Qatar Energy’s North Field is the world’s single largest non-associated offshore natural gas field.  The development of the NFE Project includes Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) that will result in more than a 25% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions when compared to similar facilities.  Qatargas selected the joint venture between Chiyoda Corporation and Technip Energies or CTJV.  This joint venture company is performing the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of this project for the Onshore Facilities of the North Field East Project.  The contract will deliver four (4) LGN mega-trains each with a capacity of 8 million tons per annum of liquefied natural gas and associated utility facilities.

In addition to LNG, the project will produce light naphtha, field condensate, ethane, propane and butane, sulphur and helium.

The scope of the NFE project also includes acid gas removal unit, sulphur recovery unit and utility systems for handling the feed gas to the liquefied natural gas trains. In addition, the scope will include a Waste Management Facility (WMF) for which HAAT will be supplying its main incinerator.

Technip Energies is one of the largest engineering and technology companies with leadership status in LNG, hydrogen and ethylene as well as CO2 management.
