Haat Trash Destructors

We have, in our range, quite a number of Trash Destructors, varying in size from 5 kg/h to 240 kg/h. As the name suggests, these are meant to destroy `trash` or Type `0` waste consisting of highly combustible solids such as paper, cardboard, cartons, wood boxes and offcuts, combustible floor sweepings from commercial and industrial activities, dry leaves, packaging materials, labels, etc.

These wastes contain up to 10% moisture with 5% incombustible solids and have a heating value of 18000 BTU/kg. They may contain, up to 10% by weight, plastic bags, coated paper, laminated paper, treated corrugated cardboard, rags, plastic scrap, etc.

Some of these, of course, could be recycled, if the quantities are large enough and if they are properly segregated. But in the case of mixed and voluminous wastes, it is impossible to separate the recyclable ones.  The other option, therefore, is to destroy them.

Haat does not call its Trash Destructors as incinerators, for the simple reason, there is no fuel involved. The calorific value of the waste itself acts as a fuel and the flame sustains itself with constant feeding of the waste material. This is why these are called `Free Burning`.

The other feature of these Trash Destructors is that they DO NOT SMOKE! When the waste is loaded and set fire to, the atmospheric air is sucked in, due to difference in pressure, to the combustion chamber, from various entry points and the flames feed on the same, thus keeping the flame going all the time.

For long equipment life, these destructors are lined with refractory, which provides for a trouble-free service also.

These trash destructors are in use for many of the applications listed above in different parts of the world.
