Command Hospital, Bangalore

First machine supplied to Indian Defence Department.

Two chamber, single burner operation.

Meets the requirements of Biomedical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 1998.

Air Force Command Hospital in Bangalore, India is one of the largest in this area with about 1000 beds. When the draft Bio Medical Waste (Handling & Management) Rules was announced, this hospital was one of the first to realize the importance of proper disposal of bio-medical waste.

We approached them and proposed our PD

model because of its unique design and low running costs.

Very soon the hospital was fully equipped with all the waste management systems in place including an incinerator, hydroclave, shredder etc. and it became a model facility in the State of Karnataka as well as among Defence establishments in the country.

Clearance for such equipment for Armed Forces in India as per the Bio-Medical Waste Rules is the Director General of Air Force Medical Services (DGAFMS) who are the deemed regulatory authority for defence establishments."
