Incinerator for Apartments

Living style has undergone a sea change in the last four to five decades with independent houses giving way to multi-storied apartments.  These apartments provide indoor and outdoor facilities such as tennis courts, badminton courts, gyms, table tennis rooms, basketball areas, cricket and football grounds, club houses, swimming pools, etc.

Take for example, Bangalore city.  This Garden City of India had never had to use a fan or air conditioner until the late 70s.  It had a very salubrious climate right through the year irrespective of any change in the seasons.  There was not a single building of more than two or three stories in the city, until the real estate barons from Bombay entered this pensioners’ paradise endowed with sylvan surroundings and converted it into a concrete jungle.  Today the population has risen from 0.15 million to almost a million.  Industrialisation has increased big time.  Bangalore has now become the software centre (or the silicon city) of India.  Apartments, building complexes gated communities, with thousands of flats in each location have become the order of the day.  The same is true of many other cities in India including Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Agra, etc. Mumbai, the economic capital of India has expanded both vertically and horizontally, adding precious land to its meagre acreage and looking even more like a ‘Mini Manhattan’.

We also have another situation in India, where old age homes have proliferated of late, due to the stoppage of the joint family practice.  These homes could be either independent villas or

apartments.  In either case, they also produce wastes similar to apartments.  In addition, there may also be medical wastes.  Waste sanitary napkins could be higher here.

The wastes generated can be broadly categorized into;

  • General garbage
  • Dry leaves
  • Paper waste
  • Sanitary napkins
  • Garden waste
  • Food waste
  • Medical waste

All these can be handled/disposed of successfully.

Food waste and wet leaves can be easily composted using a composting system.

Paper waste and dry leaves burn in a free burning trash destructor model LD/MD/HD

General garbage can be easily handled by GD or ADR.

Medical waste can be incinerated in the ADR or PDR models.

Haat has given its systems to a number of gated communities as well as apartments in different parts of the country for the above applications and these are functioning satisfactorily over a period of time.
